Help Fragging a Chalice

I have a chalice I would like to frag. I have tried to use a pair of clippers and a scalpel but they both seem to just rip up the flesh on the coral. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

if you want to mke the hike over to Maryland I would gladly help you out and cut/frag it up with my reefkeeper band saw. it works the best since it is a wet and very thin diamond blade. A dremel can burn them but is another possibility.

Thanks for the advice. The biggest problem I have is that it is attached to a rock that I can not take out of the tank. So a dremel and band saw will not work.

Thanks

if u can get it out with out breaking it too bad you can use a dremil tool with a diamond blade on it...

I built me a frag cutting box out of left over acrylic it is about 1 ft x 1ft and is only 2 inches deep...I pout water in it from the tank just to cover parts of the coral getting fraged, this helps keep the blade cool...without water it will burn the coral and possibly kill it....

good luck,
