Max Ivers September 15, 2011 September 15, 2011 Hello all, I'm looking to borrow a Hanna Instruments Ultra Low Range Phosphorus Colorometer. Anyone have one that they'd be willing to let me use to measure my phosphate? I'm getting 0.00 out of a normal Hanna Phos. Checker, plus I do run an ULNS, so I'm trying to figure out what my true phosphate level is. I'm happy to pay for the reagent for a test or work out something else. I'll be at the social Saturday. Thanks, Max
Guest thefishman65 September 15, 2011 September 15, 2011 I just go one - haven't used it yet. I will be going, but will get there late.

Guest thefishman65 September 18, 2011 September 18, 2011 Well maybe I did something wrong. This is only the second time I have used it.
Max Ivers September 18, 2011 Author September 18, 2011 I ment that in a good way. At least I can know that my problem isnt too much phosphate...confirms my thinking that I have too little, since that reading may be a little smidge higher cause I took the water sample right after feeding. So 5ppb phosphorus and .015ppm PO4?
Guest thefishman65 September 18, 2011 September 18, 2011 Not AND just depnds on how you want to read it in phosphor or phosphate.
Max Ivers September 18, 2011 Author September 18, 2011 yeah I know, just wanted to confirm the numbers, thank you again for letting me borrow it! I'm very pleased with the results maybe now I'll feed 4x a day and have my autofeeder dump pellets 2x a day...hmmmm...I wonder if fish can get too fat
