Swimboy123 July 21, 2011 Share July 21, 2011 I bought a peice of Ulva Lactuca (Ulva) on a whim and was told that tangs love it. I stuck in my refugium and it took off and grew to 4 times the original size in a matter of three weeks. I have two tangs and i haven't seen either one nip at it. Does anyone else have any experience with this macroalgae?
RJT July 22, 2011 Share July 22, 2011 My hermit crabs love it. Nothing else cared for it.
davelin315 July 22, 2011 Share July 22, 2011 I used to have some and the fish demolished it (tangs, angels, even clowns and wrasses picked at it).
GraffitiSpotCorals July 22, 2011 Share July 22, 2011 If they aren't used to eating algae you can try some flakes then do the nori seawead the next week then try mixing in some of the stuff they haven't eaten yet.
