killrblue July 8, 2011 July 8, 2011 This is my first time working with plumbing. I just received my schedule 80 plumbing from BRS. I was just dry fitting them and now the elbow and spigot are stuck together, same size 3/4. I have tried putting them in the fridge for 10mins, using cold soapy water and it just won't come apart or twist. Any ideas to take it apart? Does someone have two strap wrenches I can borrow, hopefully near me? Thanks, John

I get pvc esp sched 80 stuck to getehr every once in a while, never had a tie where I couldn't un-stuck them
FearTheTerps July 8, 2011 July 8, 2011 Yep, hot water should do the trick. Heat expands, cold constricts.
