zygote2k July 11, 2011 July 11, 2011 Part 12 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q4k-ozmtniM&feature=related cable ties are no substitute for stainless steel hose clamps. If you are worried about possible corrosion issues with SS, then switch to a plastic ratchet hose clamp but you'll have to use thin walled tubing instead.

In this case cable ties are fine,no need for stainless steel hose clamps
jason the filter freak July 12, 2011 July 12, 2011 You might want to consider adding an aqualifter to that air line nipple similar to the way CPR does their over flow boxes. Very clean sump I think you're gonna have to figure out a way to quiet everything down when you get done, that water flow/crash sound might be a little loud overtime.
donkey July 12, 2011 Author July 12, 2011 Hi its fine, had this running on another tank for over 2 years with no problems
