JMsAquarium October 10, 2003 October 10, 2003 It seems that a few of us would like to get some live sand from other generous members. I got some from Larry last Sat and could use some more. Michael is looking for some as well. If any of you can spare some scoops, please bring them to our next meeting on Saturday.
Aquariareview October 11, 2003 October 11, 2003 I can spare some very live sand (I have a 11 inch DSB that is 4 years old). There are lots of critters in my sand. Small bristleworms that stay in the sand and never bother my inverts (even the clams that live on the sand). Tiny starfish, lots of pods. There are some very small astrea star fish but they have never touched my coral. I have never seen flatworms and my Aptaisa have been gone for a very long time. I will bring some zip locks of sand.
Guest greatwit October 11, 2003 October 11, 2003 i too could use a little for my 3 gallon fuge. the more sources the better.
OUsnakebyte October 11, 2003 October 11, 2003 If you could spare a bag, I'd like to use some to seed the bed I'm starting when I change from gravel to sand bed. Thanks, Mike
michaelg October 11, 2003 October 11, 2003 Thanks Nathan- other donors still wanted! Can't get enough diversity as far as I'm concerned.
Guest Kimo October 13, 2003 October 13, 2003 I'm interested in some line sand as well - Thanks, Jamie
