quazi May 5, 2011 Share May 5, 2011 I have a small colony of purple Milli that is turning green. I have another green milli, and now my purple looks just like the green one. The purple milli has been in the tank for 9 months. I have 6 T5 lights on my 90. The bulbs are 1 year old, and I am seeing a lot of color shifting. I am assuming that is what is going on. Thoughts? dakotasreef May 5, 2011 Share May 5, 2011 I would check your tank parameters, but you should replace your bulbs. I usually have seen wild millis turn green after adding them to my tank but they eventually morph into some other color.

Mountaineer May 7, 2011 Share May 7, 2011 I have a green acro colony that has been turning blue over the last few weeks. At first I thought it was going to die but now I think it may be changing colors. It was solid green, now it is more of a tri-color. I have had that colony for about 2 years.
