encideought February 26, 2011 February 26, 2011 I had a good sized female green mandarin take a bite out of a tiny male green mandarin in my tank before...sometimes fish just go wild I guess...
dakotasreef February 26, 2011 February 26, 2011 Unfortunately clownfish can be territorial. Did he eat him or just kill him? Their molted skin can also look a lot like its alive. They will usually hide once they molt to allow their exo-skeleton to harden. Just double check the tank really well. Sent from my DROIDX

When I removed him from the tank there was only half of his body. The shrimp didnt molt. The shrimp was in the spot in been in since i brought him. The fish just snapped and started eating him.
dakotasreef February 27, 2011 February 27, 2011 Sorry for your loss. Might I recommend a fish psychiatrist. Maybe the Fish Whisperer. That clown has some serious anger issues he needs to work out. That is crazy. I can not say I have ever heard of that, but it won't be the last time I learn something. What size tank by the way? Sent from my DROIDX
