Oleg November 4, 2010 Share November 4, 2010 Hi, I am shopping for some acrylic sheets to build a sump. Are there local shops preferably in NoVA that sell 3/8 and 1/4 thick acrylic and that are cheaper than online sources like Ridout plastics etc? Larry Grenier November 4, 2010 Share November 4, 2010 Jeff (NAGA) recently said he had a surplus of acrylic and was making sumps & medium-2-small aquariums cheap. Just a thought.
khalid November 4, 2010 Share November 4, 2010 I bought some black acrylic from http://www.usplastic.com/?gclid=CLXUi82Wh6UCFQ915QodzH7RQQ before and was shipped to my house fast. Came in well packaged and everything was great with the transaction.
Oleg November 4, 2010 Author Share November 4, 2010 Yep I saw his post and sent him PM. That's an option too if he is not going to charge too much. dakotasreef November 4, 2010 Share November 4, 2010 There is also avastmarine.com (formerly Grey Sea Aquatics) and they are in Alexandria. I do not know what they stock, but have been very helpful. I just ordered a new photobox they just released.
