Vadim October 8, 2010 Author October 8, 2010 everything im reading says its dirty water. but i've done water changes every 3 weeks and i do 15 gallons of water change. none of my other fish are having issues or any of corals. i think i know what happened. my yellow tang has been trying to hit it with it's tail.
dakotasreef October 8, 2010 October 8, 2010 If he seems ok otherwise, I would just try and fortify his food for now. I would try seaweed soaked in vitamin c and garlic. I would just monitor and see if it seems to progress. Hopefully someone else who has had a similar experience will chime in. Good luck and keep us informed of any updates
Coral Hind October 8, 2010 October 8, 2010 It sounds like eye trauma to me. It can be from a scratch, or a sting from a coral or anemone. Feeding it well and soaking food in a liquid vitamin like Selcon, an antibiotic like SeaChem's KanaPlex, and garlic juice for taste will help. If it is a minor eye trauma it will clear up in a week or two.
iangibby October 8, 2010 October 8, 2010 I just went through the same issue not long ago. It went away on its own in about two weeks I believe.
