I am planning to purchase some frags from www.coralfragz.com. They have a good reputation on RC. Minimum order is $100, and I don't need that many corals. Shipping to northern VA (22031) is ~$35. If you are interested in ordering some frags from here, please email or respond to this thread.

Good point. Please see the following info from the Coralfragz web site:

 

"We are currently dealing w/issues such as expansion, clientele, and may be temporarily shutting down soon the approximate date is 8-28-03. We are sorry for the inconvenience this may cause you and are certainly regrouping to better suit your needs. The time lapse for this event right now is undetermined as of the many variables that are relevant to this issue, however 2-3 months until we are back online would be a safe guesstimate. Please feel free to contact me for further information during this event."

 

I'm thinking we should order from a different vendor (there are plenty of good ones around), to avoid any complications.

How about www.northstarcorals.com

He is just a hobbiest, but has a lot of nice frags and a good rep.  I would be interested in a frag or 2.  Prices are very reasonable.  Shipping from minnesota- he did have a special of 5 frags for $115 and includes shipping- not sure if still active.

 

www.phishybusiness.com is in columbus and has a decent selection of frags.  Close, so shipping might be less?

You are right- there are a lot of great places out there.

I have ordered from Bill at www.Northstarscorals.com and I would highly recommend him.  Not only he has some very nice frags, but his prices are reasonable, he is knowledgeable and his support is outstanding.

 

As far as I know he still has a 5/$115 deal available, as well as 10/$220.  Both offers include box and ship charges.
