Antsh August 5, 2010 August 5, 2010 I have a recently set up 46 Bowfront that has just completed its cycle (still no livestock). Ammonia and nitrite both appear to be at 0, and nitrate is up to a little above 20ppm. I think I'm going to pick up a few snails for my CUC, after a water change, to take care of some brown algea that grew during cycling. Anyways... I also bought a 20L tank to use as a sump. My cabinet's storage is way too small to hold any tank, so I was wondering if I could place the sump beside the main tank, without any issues regarding water flow. Also, does anyone have any idea about some piece of furniture I could use the hide the 20L? Thanks for the help.
trockafella August 5, 2010 August 5, 2010 I have a 72g Bowfront, and I have a 30L next to it in a stand I built. Very easy to build, and there isnt any issue with flow or anything like that. Your welcome to come by and see how mine is done.
flowerseller August 5, 2010 August 5, 2010 You grilling more of those delicious hot dogs you grilled for EVERYONE at FFE? Thanks again btw...........
trockafella August 5, 2010 August 5, 2010 Chip, if you wanna come by we can cook something much better than hot dogs.! And we can drink.! And your more than welcome.!
Integral9 August 5, 2010 August 5, 2010 I picked this up for my 9g and World Market. I forget how much I paid for it, but my wife liked it much more than the aquarium furniture at Petco / Pet Smart. It's not designed for a tank, but it works just the same. I could fit a tank inside if I could get it past the doors. ( you can ignore the wires and RO unit)
