I have a recently set up 46 Bowfront that has just completed its cycle (still no livestock). Ammonia and nitrite both appear to be at 0, and nitrate is up to a little above 20ppm. I think I'm going to pick up a few snails for my CUC, after a water change, to take care of some brown algea that grew during cycling.

Anyways... I also bought a 20L tank to use as a sump. My cabinet's storage is way too small to hold any tank, so I was wondering if I could place the sump beside the main tank, without any issues regarding water flow.

Also, does anyone have any idea about some piece of furniture I could use the hide the 20L?

Thanks for the help.

I have a 72g Bowfront, and I have a 30L next to it in a stand I built. Very easy to build, and there isnt any issue with flow or anything like that. Your welcome to come by and see how mine is done.

I picked this up for my 9g and World Market. I forget how much I paid for it, but my wife liked it much more than the aquarium furniture at Petco / Pet Smart. It's not designed for a tank, but it works just the same. I could fit a tank inside if I could get it past the doors. ( you can ignore the wires and RO unit)
