truestelf July 6, 2010 July 6, 2010 So i went away for part of the week and my timers on my t-5 lighting decided not to work, so my lights where on for over 2 days straight.I now have green algae everywhere in my tank. Any suggestions of how i can get this under control ? 30 gallon tank 6 bulb t5 fixture 79 degrees Salinity is correct i have a HOG fug with light 2 powerheads (good water movement) a hob filter
Incredible Corals July 6, 2010 July 6, 2010 I would do a water change 10-15% and then go lights-out for 36-48 hours. That should starve the algae enough.
Coral Hind July 6, 2010 July 6, 2010 A water change never really hurts but I would just clean the glass go on with the normal routine. It will clear itself up in due time, no need to stress. It just has to reach that balance again.
