WaterDog February 20, 2010 Author Share February 20, 2010 Anyone want this guy? I'll be at the meeting tomorrow. Our refugium doesn't really have room for him, but I don't want to just kill him...

WaterDog March 2, 2010 Author Share March 2, 2010 Crabs must really like this rock...Found another crab in it, this one is whiteish green with spots. Any ideas what this one is?
Charlie March 2, 2010 Share March 2, 2010 I know that crabs can be quite damaging. When I lived on the Eastern Shore, we used to soak out clams to get the mud out of them. One day I got the not so briliant idea to add a couple of blue crabs to the tub (I wasn't planning on eating the crabs right away and I wanted to get a few more out of my pots before I ate them). Within an hour, two crabs had eaten a half a dozen clams. Needless to say, I was surprized that a crab that was about 5 inches accross could eat that much.
