Sharkey18 January 20, 2010 January 20, 2010 Just wondering if anyone has been able to keep anything alive for more than a year and if so 1) do you have growth and 2) what is your feeding regimen? Just wondering if any progress is being made in meeting their requirements. Laura
khalid January 21, 2010 January 21, 2010 I used to have a pink carnation for a year or so and it was doing great in fact even grew some onto the rock I glued it on. The only reason I no longer have it is because it along with pretty much all my other corals died when my tank crashed after I moved this past summer. I am definitely going to be getting others in the future. I use phyto, marine snow, along with a few other Kent marine product 2 to 3 times a week and had it in a moderate to high flow section of the tank.
Jan January 22, 2010 January 22, 2010 Great article! My feeding regimine is pretty much the same with the same foods. I also feed Oyster feast and Phytoplex 3x a week with good results so far. It's only been 3 months for my chili coral but I've had great growth and good polyp extension. This article may be of interest to you.-R
