I can't afford the named brand bulbs, so I get mine from a guy on ebay for $24 each shipped. I've been using 2 of them since Feb 2009 and they're still working great.

I've been using 2 of them since Feb 2009 and they're still working great. You might want to start thinking about changing them pretty quick. It can cause a lot of different problems. You might think they are still working great but when you compare them to new ones you will see a huge difference.

I plan on replacing them every year. I need to borrow the club's PAR meter to see what their PAR actually is. I bet it's not too bad. I get more growth out of them than the XM 20k's I used to have anyway...
