Who uses their RO/DI filter to make their drinking water?

I have been ordering 5 gallon bottles of water for a water cooler for years... Now that I moved my tank, my RO is directly under my kitchen so I am thinking about adding a kit to use my RO for drinking water...

 

Anyone else do this?

Mine is hooked up to a 2 gallon storage tank that feeds my frig(water & ice) and a seperate faucet hooked up at the sink.

I do. It's the same quality (more or less) as aquafina or dasani. Much cheaper overall. Most of the vendors have a drinking water kit with a holding tank and a dispenser to add to your sink.

I keep a couple of gallons (one of those tall skinny containers with a spout) in the fridge.

We've had an RO system under the sink since long before I started down the saltwater hobbyist path. It's the only way I can get Michele to drink tap water, she's a water snob and hates bottled water as she says it tastes like plastic.

About once a week I fill up water cooler jugs for myself, family and friends.
