capsfan July 9, 2009 Share July 9, 2009 I have a Red sea wavemaker that I got a super bargain on, but I never use it. Is a wave maker at all necessary or am I just as fine without one? I could use the extra cash, but I don't know if I would regret selling it in the future. Any thoughts?
tygger July 9, 2009 Share July 9, 2009 It's not a requirement, but I like to randomize the flow. Is this for your 2.5g tank?

This would be for my 55 gallon tank. One of the finalists for the "Ugly Tank Contest" on nanoreef! I know it is not something I should be proud about, but I am. tygger July 9, 2009 Share July 9, 2009 Yea, I was gonna say that 4 ph's in your 2.5 would be too much. lol A drawback with using this wavemaker is that it limits your ph options to basically using a maxijet.

Yeah, I noticed that. How much do you think I could get for it? It is this model.
