CHUBAKAH June 26, 2009 Share June 26, 2009 (edited) Picked up a hitch hiker on the bottom of a war coral I have. Was very tiny when I got it and stayed that way for a while. In the last month it has grown about 2 1/2 all the way around which makes it about 5 inches from side to side. Seems a bit aggressive in terms of growth, but I like the way it looks. Who's got the skinny? Edited June 26, 2009 by CHUBAKAH
zygote2k June 26, 2009 Share June 26, 2009 Can I get a frag of the sponge?
Coral Hind June 26, 2009 Share June 26, 2009 (edited) It looks like a colony of tunicates which are harmless. Edited June 26, 2009 by Coral Hind
lancer99 June 26, 2009 Share June 26, 2009 +1, tunicates, not a sponge. And they may die off suddenly. -R
CHUBAKAH June 26, 2009 Author Share June 26, 2009 Either of you have any links to support that this is indeed a harmless tunicates? I haven't been able to find anything that shows one that even remotely looks like this. Thanks
