so i was running 3 150 watt phoenix 14k's over a 180 gal. i recently upgraded to 2 400 watt reeflux 20k's with 2 6ft vho's. my question is starting from monday with dimmable ballasts how long should i run them on low before ramping them up to full power?

Is that going from DE to SE's too?

 

I would do it over a 3 week period myself. No reason to rush it I would assume.

 

I am doing the same with lowering my lights about an inch a week.

yes from de to se. yea i was thinking so as well. it is amazing how lights matter so much. even my chronically low ph is good now. yea i intended to go slow since it is such a big jump.
