what mesh to use

when doing a mesh mod to a skimmer, i did it to mine a few weeks ago and it works great until the cheapo mesh i use desintegrates, is there a plce where i can get good mesh that will last or maybe a modified impeller for the tiny pump.

Enkamat PF4. You can often get it on Ebay reasonably cheaply in small portions suitable for mesh mods.
