motti April 11, 2009 Share April 11, 2009 Hey everybody i am currently working on a website for my 150 gallon tank. i have the AC3 controller connected to the internet, and i would like to know how i can show up the status of the tank from my website. or if it is possible to edit the server files that are located on the AC3. i am not quite sure that this is the right place to post. so if it's not please move . THanks.
dtfleming April 12, 2009 Share April 12, 2009 (edited) You need to allow port forwarding on your router. your Ip address is what is used to see the ACIII and the stats. I can see and control my ACIII for any computer and my cell phone with this. I just have to punch in my ip address and user name and password setup on my ACIII. I found alot of info on this on RC and kengaro on there has alot of info on these things. oh and I dont know about the server files, but you can edit the config files and pages on the ACIII. Like change the name of it on the webpage, add a webcam and controls, change the background colors. Edited April 12, 2009 by dtfleming
motti April 12, 2009 Author Share April 12, 2009 Thanks, but this isn't exactly what i meant, i would only like to display the info in the site, and not control it. kind of importing the data from the ACIII and showing it on another page, something similar like what your signature image script does. dtfleming April 12, 2009 Share April 12, 2009 I guess you could use the rowalab feature, thats what is in my sig. for link directly to the status bin file on the ACIII.

Pat_13 April 12, 2009 Share April 12, 2009 ok i figured out how to access via telnet.... anyone know what are the telnet commands? l, c, d, & r Telnet Commands The following commands are available from telnet. They are all single letter commands which are executed by typing the letter followed by a carriage return. l The list command will display all the defined timer names and program statements. This command is useful in debugging the program used by the AquaController III Pro. c The current status command will display the current conditions in the aquarium. It will also list the state of all the control modules. d The data log Command will print all the data logged by the AquaController III Pro. r The reset datalog will initialize the data log memory and set the number of log entries to zero.
