zygote2k April 9, 2009 April 9, 2009 With the Ricordea craze in full bloom this year, many of us are buying Ricordea floridae species but are being told that they are Ricordea yuma species. A very simple visual identification will tell you if you have the real McCoy. Ricordea Yuma has pseudo-tentacles on the oral cone. Ricordea Floridae has NO pseudo-tentacles on the oral cone. Here are 2 pictures showing the differences. Top pic is a Yuma. Bottom pic is a Floridae.
