DDiver November 6, 2008 November 6, 2008 Ok Mr. Fancy Pants --WHAT'S YOUR SECRET???! I couldn't tell ya..I just lucked out I guess..I also used only a 3 stage RO unit whose membrane and filters were pretty old when I iniatially filled my tank...
Smoothtriqueter November 6, 2008 November 6, 2008 This has been fun to read along with because I have been stuck at about 5ppm after getting them down from a nast 50ppm! I am just today completing my 3rd month and was wondering if 5ppm is still expected or if I can get it down to 0 with some work? I did just remove some sponge I had in a baffle because i thought that might help we will see, also a 20g water change.

DDiver November 6, 2008 November 6, 2008 Inaccurate test kit! lol that's what I thought in the beginning but then I got it checked at the Lfs with lab grade test kits and it proved correct..
