two-part and top-off tank

When I go away for a few days, I can't add two-part daily.

 

I was wondering, does putting both the A and B part in the top-off water work, or are the two parts separate b/c they'll just nullify each other if put into the freshwater top-off tank together?

 

Right now, I have more of a problem with alkalinity, so I just put a bunch of squirts of B in the top-off tank, so it gets added gradually while I'm gone.

yep, they need time to disspiate in the system. Sounds like it's time for a dosing/peristalic pump and system

Is kalk out of the picture for adding to your top-off? Will help to maintain levels for a few days if you aren't already using it.
