anyone know if there is a huge difference if I am using a reflector between the coiled bulbs or the flood florescence? before I go to HD real soon!

The flood bulb has the coiled bulb inside it (you can see it when you look at the bulb). I like the flood better since it has a built in reflector (so I don't use the big aluminum reflector).

just wondering incase I don't find o they don't have the flood one here. I have a small aluminum reflector already so no biggy. Thanks for all the help ETD! off the HD

they're great bulbs the flood lamp ones just make sure you keep you receipt I have them good bad in a month instead of the normal year or so occasionally. I use two of them side by side over a 30 gallon or so sump

so just as an FYI for anyone else who needs the info....I ended up buying the non-flood because the lumens output was higher by 30 and the lifetime was longer. I also do not have that big of a fuge. ohh and cost less too 3.50 instead of 7.50
