New tank in a HS- equipment help please

I have some hs students that are interested in setting up a 55 gallon salt water tank. Of course we are on a tight budget, I was wondering if there were any folks out there that have equpiment they would like to donate. We are starting from scratch. I have salt. I did recieve a small grant but to look for other sources to fund this project

Where are you located? What type of system are you looking to set up (full reef, fish only, etc)?

I'm getting ready to tear down a 55 and may be able to help, depending on your timing and location.

I am also willing to donate. I have a dual 96w pc ballast and a berlin skimmer with no pump. I also can give you a cup of live sand and some macro if you need some.

You will find lots of folks ready to help with livestock and outfit assistance- depending on your instruction mission - you might find a nano cube the easiest example of a biotope.

But if you are working all the chemistry issues a larger tank would be more educational in showing changes.
