discretekarma July 7, 2007 July 7, 2007 (edited) Does anyone know where I can get a good price and selection of lockline and barbed PVC? I will need a barbed pvc, a large U to go up and over the sides of the tank, a split or Y lockline about 6 inches long each and then a spreader tip on the end of each. I searched on here and on google and found that Blue Ribbon Koi has them and at a pretty good price but they are in VA and I live in MD. Anyone know of a website? Thanks so much in advance for the advice. Edited July 7, 2007 by discretekarma
jamesbuf July 7, 2007 July 7, 2007 http://www.blueribbonkoi.com/ It'll be worth the trip from potomac because they will take the time to help you build what you need. When I build my pvc outlets Johnny was a huge help. Big reason why its worth the extra drive.

discretekarma July 8, 2007 Author July 8, 2007 Roozens is right near my work. Do you think they would be of any help when it comes to lock line? Ditto... I go there from DC. John has been a great help in helping price out and get components.
davelin315 July 8, 2007 July 8, 2007 Roozens is right near my work. Do you think they would be of any help when it comes to lock line? No... there equipment is a mess and good luck finding someone to help you with a buy. I go there periodically to see what they've got and also once in a while because they have so much rock, but it's never easy getting an answer from someone and it's even harder to find a piece of equipment.
jamesbuf July 8, 2007 July 8, 2007 Roozens is right near my work. Do you think they would be of any help when it comes to lock line? I know they have some, but I'm positive you wont save any money as compared to online, and I can also guarantee you wont get the attention and service you would get at BRK. I only shop at Roozens for fish and maybe frozen food. I've compared prices on many things between the two stores, and BRK wins everytime. 40lb bags of carib-sea aragonite sand is $6 cheaper at BRK. Mysis shrimp is around $4 cheaper for equivalent sizes. BRK beats them in almost everyway. The only reason why I actually visit Roozens is because they are 2 miles from my folks house. If it wasn't for that, I'd never really go there. They do get some cool fish in though, and the prices are good too. But they don't quarantine their fish, so buyer beware.
YBeNormal July 8, 2007 July 8, 2007 Since you seem to know exactly what parts you need, maybe you can arrange a purchase with BRK paying by credit card over the phone and find someone in your area (or at least closer to you) that will be visiting BRK soon and have them pick up the parts.
