bigjames1300r May 9, 2007 May 9, 2007 My lawnmower blenny looks like he is starving. I have had him for about 5 months and at first he was doing well. He never ate anything but algae and now I think the cheato in my fuge is growing so fast that I think now there is not enough algae growing in the display to keep my lawnmower nice and fat like he used to be. Is there anything they will ear besides algae?? Any suggestions?? Thanks in Advance, James

inedukated May 9, 2007 May 9, 2007 I go to the oriental market (Grandmart) and buy sheets of Nori and other sushi-roll type seaweed. My lawnmower loves to eat it from a clip. What he doesn't eat, the snails get at night. Perhaps that'll work for you.
dandy7200 May 10, 2007 May 10, 2007 I agree it may be time to suppliment with some flaked algae. Tangs really like nori but, I've found that many other herbavores prefer a preflaked food to eating from a clip. Most angel blends will be great, I also am a big fan of Omega so I get their algae blend and mix in with everyone elses food.
