I really like him but i already have a tomato in the main tank. Let me know if anyone wants him. About 2 inches or bigger The Chocolate chip star was free to me so free to anyone else. He is great also, moves around alot. Let me know if you want them.

xeon January 19, 2005 January 19, 2005 Bob et al, Not trying to rain on any parades, but I thought it prudent to share my experience with Chocoloate Chip starfish. They not only may predate on snails, but they also can and will eat soft corals. In my hobby infancy I bought one to appease the "get a star fish" divas of the household. Buying it was neither calculated or planned... a no no. It didn't take me long to figure out it wasn't cut out for my tank. It was given a one way ticket to my refuge and back to a local pet shop. On a slightly interesting note, I did enjoy watching it capture snails.
rocko918 January 19, 2005 Author January 19, 2005 No problem, I have had him in my tank for 6 months and i have never seen it attack any of my snails. I have tons of softies and it has not eaten any of them. Not to say it will not do that but it has not for me. He has been a good star. BUt time to move on. Both the clown and star are spoken for. thanks
