I have kept mine at 1.023, but was told that that was for fish-only tanks by a guy at reef centeral.  He said that I should keep it between 1.025 and 1.026.  What do you guys do?

NSW (natural sea water) in tropical seas averages at 35 ppt or 1.0255.

 

I keep mine 1.025-1.026

 

Old style FO's run at 1.021+/-, as lowered salinity is helpful in keeping ich under control.  Reef systems need the trace elements and calcium found in NSW salinities.
