It killed my aiptasia, it appears. No sign of it for three days. Unfortunately, the zoanthids nearby have stayed closed up for three days, as well. Will they eventually open??

I use Joes Juice regularly for my tanks for over a year. A couple of suggestions- Use a seperate small container, take a piece of fine mesh cheese cloth, spread it out over the container opening, take a popsickle stick and poke some of the cheese cloth into the opening of the container> Now pour enough Juice for the job and rub it through with the stick. Once you have "filtered" it draw it into the syringe and attach nozzle. This prevents the clogging when you are applying the juice and the sudden "blasts" that occur when squeezing down on the syringe and over applying. Also ALWAYS take a turkey baster or wave your fingers around the general area of the application to dissolve any standing residue. I've tried other brands which I didn't like and its GREAT on Mojano.

I love the juice. I use it in my fish only tank which is where they show up and I kill them when they are gynormous. I wait till they get about the size of a quarter then I get my revenge. I take the syringe and "boom" white cloud and no more pest! I think it states that its reef safe. That being said, the zoa's might be bitter for a while. I wouldnt worry till they fell off.

Thanks... a few of them opened back up today; the rest are still angry. I blasted away with the turkey baster as soon as I realized the stuff was just going to sit there. I had three little bitty aiptasia on one zoo frag. I have one more on a Kenya tree coral frag; which I'm going to attack when I move it soon. To my frag tank, of course. :) The aiptasia were causing a few of the zoo's not to open anyhow - so in the end I hope to have a net gain in open zoos!
