Oprah Wrangler March 13, 2007 March 13, 2007 Hey all, I added a star pollyp frag to my 3 gallon pico tope and of course it initially was knocked down by snails. So I was going to purchase some glue and tack it to the L/R. Well, two weeks later and this thing has started to branch out like the blob and attach its self to the L/R. How cool is that? Is this normal behaviour for this and do other corals exhibit the same?

And that some star polyps recover from transplantation a lot better and faster than others. They seem to just sit there for a week or so, and then all of a sudden they start spreading like crazy. And you can even get them to grow up the back of the tank, if you like. I had a 3"x3" piece of pink-center star polyp that I glued to a rock; and there's only about 1"x1" left - but now it's finally starting to attach and grow. bob
Steve G March 13, 2007 March 13, 2007 I have the opposite problem. I need to get star polyps from invading my whole tank. They don't come off the rock very easily.
