Zoa problem

Hey guys-- Picked up two small zoa frags last week, one is still looking great but the other has closed up in the last couple days. All the other zoas in the tank look great, its just this one colony. I am really not an expert in this field, so I wanted to see what you guys think. Do you see any irritants, pests, predators etc? What are the small pink things near the base? Thanks!

It's really hard to tell, but it does look like there is a small 6 legged critter on the base of those zoo (I would remove it).

that looks like a pretty small frag. How new is it? When was the last time they were fully opened up??

I know when I got some small zoo frags from a couple members it took a little while for them to fully open up once I put them in my tank. It took them a few days to adjust. Just give them time.

I bought the frag last friday. All the polyps were fully opened up by the next day, and were so for probably around 3-4 days. I noticed the polyps closing up around mid week, this week.

Give it some time. Only bad things happen fast in this hobby. I have had multiple Zoas come from the same person at the same time with one opening quickly and the other taking over 2 weeks open.
