Bob February 27, 2007 Share February 27, 2007 I have been given a 3.2 Megapixel camera and I want to start taking some fish photos. Any really elementary advice for a rookie? Any need for concern for flash upsetting fish? How to reduce reflections etc. Any quickie simple advice would be very welcome; I promise to share my results on the boards. dhoch February 27, 2007 Share February 27, 2007 1) White balance - make sure to set it based on your tank lights 2) Use a tripod. To get good stop action you'll want shutter speed 1/100 or faster... There are my first two tips

Do you use a tripod for fish shots?
dhoch February 27, 2007 Share February 27, 2007 Typically with full tank shots I shoot 1/100 or higher... I almost always use a tripod. Dave
