martin January 28, 2007 January 28, 2007 One week now, tested the water this morning everything was zero..the PHis still low 7.9, Saw some pods last night!!! Kalkwasser drip will help your ph level, along with two part suplements. I don't use any filters on my reef tank, just a protien skimmer. No sponges on the pumps either. Plus I have a large sump and refugium. 75g display with a 55g sump (about 40g in in reserve) and a 33g refugium. I have a kalkreactor on it which has made all the difference in the world for coral growth. Don't forget to feed the 'pods, they like DTs and phyto feast.
Guest tattooed February 2, 2007 February 2, 2007 Thanks for the advice, just got back from a week long trip and everything is still Zero, the PH went up to 8.1. My wife did the tops off while I was gone
Guest tattooed February 4, 2007 February 4, 2007 how do you post a pic? Do you have to use a website like photobucket?
jason the filter freak February 8, 2007 February 8, 2007 You can host your pics on this site or another site, this site if they're reef/tank related. Here's a thread! I'd like to see pics. http://www.wamas.org/forums/index.php?showtopic=10868 <<--- read this
