Guest tastybeans December 10, 2006 December 10, 2006 I have a Green Mandarin Goby (dragonet) that was sold to me when I first started my reef tank by an unwise LFS employee. I have a 24g Aquapod that is healthy in most respects. However, it has come to my attention that Lincoln Chafee (my dragonet) is becoming ever more emaciated. I have a healthy stock of microgoodies and have watched her feed, but I think she needs a bigger tank with even more goodies. I am hoping someone on this forum has a home suitable for her where she may grow fat. Ideally, I'd like to trade my poor fish for a more durable fish, some zoanthid colonies, or what have you. If this sounds appealling, please contact me. I live in DC and have access to a car. Ben bcburkhardt@yahoo.com
dhoch December 10, 2006 December 10, 2006 If it's a female for sure and is a green mandarin I'll take it in my 180... I don't really have a fish to trade, but would be very willing to trade corals and or cash. Dave
inedukated December 10, 2006 December 10, 2006 (edited) Dave's got first dibs.... he needs a mate for his beautiful male goby. If it's a HE fish, I'll gladly take it. -Ben p.s. I have a cinammon clownfish you can have, or yellow-tail damsels, both of which are EASY to take care of. I can also provide some green button polyps Edited December 10, 2006 by inedukated

cbashaw December 10, 2006 December 10, 2006 (edited) Lincoln Chafee ....you a rhode island native? That's funny I was going to ask the same thing. I'm from Glocester RI. If your Mandarin is Lincoln Chafee. Do you have Buddy Cianci in your tank too or would you have to keep him in an agressive tank. Maybe a Mantis Shrimp? Edited December 10, 2006 by cbashaw
Guest tastybeans December 11, 2006 December 11, 2006 Hey guys: No, not from RI, just liked Senator Chafee. I think the fish is a girl in any case, judging by the size of the dorsal fin. Sorry I was MIA yesterday; didn't get online. Any fish recommendations that are hardy and suited to a 24 g nano? Oh, and they must be sweet to coral. I love my zoanthid colonies.
Sugar Magnolia December 11, 2006 December 11, 2006 Wise decision trading in the mandarin. Here's a decent list of fish suitable for nanos: http://www.liveaquaria.com/product/scateg.cfm?pCatId=2124
