danskim November 1, 2006 November 1, 2006 Does anyone know where I can get marine feeder shrimp locally? Something along the lines of... http://www.petsolutions.com/Saltwater+Feed...C-16116-C-.aspx
Lee Stearns November 1, 2006 November 1, 2006 Have not seen anyplace locally carry them- but I would be in for some as well- Sea horses will not allow the smaller or medium of these to last. I treid raising some of them from an order in a seperate 5 gallon but did not have much success.
RudyCDX1 November 1, 2006 November 1, 2006 I would like an order of these as well. The shipping charge from Pet Solutions is a bit heavy for a single order. Will they do anything on a group order?
RudyCDX1 November 1, 2006 November 1, 2006 Thanks Gastone, I just placed an order for 200 1/4" - 1" and will let you all know how they turn out.

davelin315 November 1, 2006 November 1, 2006 Hey Guys, years ago someone off of RC saw that I had seahorses and sent me a box of 100-200 of these "feeder shrimp". He harvested them off of the Carolina coast (I believe it was North Carolina) by dragging a net across the grass bed. They were great and I didn't see any problems with them as far as diseases were concerned. I know that it's a concern, but you can always harvest your own.

Haha, must be nice living near the coast with grass beds! I am too far from the coast though :(
