Does anyone know if the vinyl on a water box all in one can be removed? I want to have a cut out for a refugium light.

Yes!  Use a nice blade, cut through and pull off.

OK, thanks. do you know if the back glass is clear or frosted like the inside glass.

@gastone that’s awesome. I’ve had a lot of success with the LED attached to the back glass for a refugium in a couple different innovative marine tanks. I did notice with the WB the water flows down instead of upwards.
