  1. I am looking for someone with experience to move my Waterbox from my garage to my fish room in my basement. I'm hoping someone on the forum has used a local company. I'm not having much luck. It's a custom Waterbox 72x30x25 (235 gals) and weighs about 565 lbs. I have a few emails out to piano movers but I'm out of fish service places. No interest. The only moving company to call me back wants $1400! That's dollars, US. Any ideas would be much appreciated. Thanks, JOe
  2. I need to move and replace or give away my 125 gallon tank before cold weather As a new hobbyist, I placed my tank in a great location in our family room; however, it is located just above the HVAC system which sits in the basement. After 14 years of saltwater spills, it's now time to replace the HVAC. Not ready for cold weather. Option 1 - Give away all and start over. No price - free to a good home ! Take the tank, inhabitants, live rock, substrate, sump, chiller, pump etc. Major inhabitants include: 1 Pacific Blue tang 3 Hawaiian tangs 3 Rose Bubble Tip Anemone - never hosted 2 Percula (male/female) Clown fish 5 Humbug Dascyllus (3 stripes) 2 Sixline Wrasse Option 2 - ? The tank is in a great location. I just need a more robust stand that will allow me to set up where spills are contained. Would love suggestions. I don't really want to leave the hobby. Option 1 may be the best option for this year. Thanks. Systems also includes Current lights, eFlux wave pump systems with two pumps.
  3. I've got someone interested in buying my big 8' tank tonight, but he's only able to bring one other person and my husband hurt his back (cough-perfect timing ya big faker-cough). Is there anyone available tonight around 630 to meet in Woodbridge and help load a tank into a truck? It's a townhouse, so there's stairs or a long walk around the building, just so people know what they're getting into. Oh and a gross leak right above the tank in the basement. That should no longer be leaking. We'll see. There's no unloading and I'll buy the beer. Any help is extremely appreciated.
