I have had AI LEDS on my reef for 3 months. I have seen good growth of SPS. The growth in my tank has been spreading as opposed to a branching growth if that makes sense. The colors pop much more as opposed to the MH I used before.

Justin- SPS tank has been up and running for about a year. I am still using your Reef Fanatic regulator you gave me 2 years ago. I will post some pic's. Already thinking an upgrade in tank size...

I was wondering if there is a maximum length of CO tubing from the regulator/tank to the calcium reactor itself?

I tried the method with hose and 5 gallon bucket and it tooks hours to run clear. It seemed if you stirred you got more dust. The smaller dust particles will create more surface area and help with the tank. So I would just put directly into the tank.

What worked for me was to use the pulse feature. The constant pulse created a wave motion.

I have one and on its lowest setting it might work. Seems like a waste unless you plan to use it somewhere else later.

I purchased some SPS that i dipped and are growing huge. The fish seem healthier then other places that I have been too.

I thought Mysis shrimp were a good staple food. Brine shrimp is not that great. Add supplements to the food like selcon for more vitamins they need. I feed a mix of foods from PE Mysis to prime reef. I also have an auto feeder set for 3 small feedings a day of flake and cyclopeze. I also have 7 anthais that need to be fed alot along with several tangs. I feed 1/4 sheet of Nori, golden pearls and oyster eggs every other day. With all the feedings I need more water changes and I try to stay on top of cleaning the skimmer.

"Oh, I found a live tree coral in the sand" Was that from my tank?

You should see the skimmer for this tank. Its on the large size. Sorry about tonight Justin. Work is getting in the way of my hobbies.

From talking to them they are planning a good system. No date on when it will be ready though.

I was told by the folks at TFW that they are working towards setting up a reef section of the store. They are converting an office by the current salt water section and putting in tanks for corals. They plan on several tanks for SPS, LPS and softies. Just thought I would let people know.

I had the falt worms in a tank I had about ten years ago. Those were hard to syphon off and covered corals etc. They were more a reddish brown color. These ones in my fuge are brown and are easily removed. If you stir the water they come loose and free float in the water. The strange part is I havent added anything to the tank in months and nothing to the fuge in a year.

Has anybody had flat worms just appear? I have a infesation in my fuge but nothing in my main tank. Tank is 4 years old. Havent added anything new to my fuge in 2 years?
