  1. David- Your tank is coming along very well. I'm glad the softies I gave you in our trade are doing great
  2. Chip - I'll 1st try the Weldon then the Black Duct Tape Thanks... The wonders you can achieve with Super Glue It's Mind-Boggling
  3. Raf - If I do decide to let it go, you'll be the 1st person i'll consider selling/trading it to Chip - Inspecting the trim a bit more, I believe the repair may only be for Aesthetic reasons. But, I could be wrong. The silicone on the glass seems to be intact and there does not seem to be any leaks. Does a cracked trim = a busted tank with continued normal use? I've read somewhere that the trim is mainly used for decorative and protective reasons (So you don't accidentally chip the corner and cut yourself). Not really to provide overall strength to the tank. Is this true? Can I just fix the crack with more aquarium grade silicone, Weld On, Two Part Epoxy, Fiberglass etc? If possible, I want to repair it in such a way that it does not look too obvious. Let me know... Thanks
  4. I was wondering if there is anyway to mend/fix a cracked, black, plastic trim on an AGA 120 Gallon Tank. It's cracked at the corner. I would rather fix than throw out as long as it wont be too much of a hastle.. Sorry, I dont have any pics. Any advise? Please let me know... Thanks...
  5. Awesome craftsmanship!!!!
  6. Nice Piece... Can't wait to see it when it opens
  7. I purchased my Dry Fiji Rock from Marco Rocks 2 months ago. IMHO, the best dry rock out there. It's Extremely porous and light. The guy is very helpful and allows you to Cherry Pick. Just let him know what size tank you have and the size/shape of the Rocks you are looking for. I asked him to cherry pick for my 75 gallon and what I got were several large pieces i.e 2 of the larger pieces were approx. 14" x 7" each. The last time I emailed him, he gave me a cherry picked choice of 50 lbs of all small, all medium, all large, a mix or 1 - 50 lb piece If you're not sure about his product, he is offering this on his site: "Marco Rock Samples 5"-6" sample Piece of our signature Fiji Dry Rock Pay shipping only now. *ships USPS priority mail Flate rate of $4.50* Place an order within 30 days and that shipping cost is refunded." Currently, He has an auction on EBay (do an EBAY search on: Base Rock - Dry Rock 50# reef Aquarium Live rock): It works out at $2.52 / lb for a 50 box with shipping and insurance included. Hopefully this helps... Dan
