  2. I'd really rather not ship any items if I don't have to, sorry.
  3. hypertech - I won't be going to the meeting. If anyone wants to p/u for you to take to the meeting that would be fine though. Here is a picture of the pump:

    Stand Build

This are pictures from building my stand for the 75 gallong
  5. PM box cleared. amay121 - thank you. I hope to get back to the hobby again in the future. Wamas was always a great resource full of good people.
  6. I bought the skimmer a couple years ago, but only put it into use on this system for about 1 year.
  7. Unfortunately, yes. For the meantime I have no time to maintain an aquarium.
  8. Well I haven't been able to keep up with the tank for awhile now and its time to sell. Here's what I have plus price info. I'll let all equipment go together for $450 or broken up as listed. I have I'm guessing ~45# Live Rock that is in good shape, nice large pieces, for $2/#. The stand is custom built with removable front door for easy access. It is made to accomodate this specific size tank as the tank slides in from the back to hid the plastic trim. You can see from the pictures below(the pictures were taken before the stand was stained a more or less cherry finish). So I would like those to be sold together, but am willing to part out if I have to. There is a pretty ugly sump, about 40g, that works fine that I will give to the purchaser of the tank or free with other purchase if the buyer of the tank doesn't want it. I'm gonna go with whoever can pick up first to decide this unless somebody wants the whole system together. I'm located in Montgomery Village, Md in case location is an issue for anyone. $150 75G All glass with megaflow overflow system $75 Custom built stand $150 48" Current USA Sunpod fixture 2x150w HQI with moon lights and led daylights, needs new bulbs as they are over 1 year old $45 Eheim 1260 pump $20 Koralia 4 $100 ASM G1 Skimmer
  9. I've got a 150w PFO pendant you can take and use for a little bit if you decide you need some extra light.
  10. I'll be going as well. Though since my tank just finished cycling I won't have any donations. Next fragfest I'll be sure to have something to bring in to slice and dice though.
  11. do you have any more information on the pendant light in the last picture?($175)
  12. thanks for all the info guys. Looks like it shouldn't be too much of a hassle locating things.
  13. Hey everybody, I'm not very familiar with the LFSs so I'm not sure what I can get and where. Hopefully some of you can point me in the right direction. I'm located in Gaithersburg, MD but can drive wherever if I have to. Right now I'm hoping to find plumbing parts; in particular bulkheads and fittings that can be tougher to find at lowe's or HD. I can order them online thru marine depot, but I'd rather pay a few dollars in gas money and support a LFS than pay for shipping. Besides then I get to see all the toys too
  14. Hmmm... Maybe if I link the pictures from my gallery here it will work. Can you see them now?
  15. Hey everyone! Just rejoined WAMAS and am putting together a 75. It's an all glass with a megaflow overflow and I have an Iwaki 30RLT for the return. Due to financial constraints it'll start out really simple, but build up over time. I've got a 150w hqi pendant to start with for lighting, a ASM G2 without any mods, and a couple of weak powerheads for added water movement in the display. The biggest obstacle will be getting this setup before the baby comes(next month sometime), as my wife is pregnant. The first real project is building the stand which I'll post some pictures of here to get things started off... Here is the semi finished stand(still needs to be sanded and stained) The door will be held in place by two small magnets, which I still need to install. I felt this would be easier than swinging the door open and will give me better access to the sump and equipment. Also by using trim to disguise the door it doesn't necessarily look like the stand opens at all from the outside, which I thought was nice as far as asthetics are concearned. I also don't really like having that cheap looking plastic trim outlining the view of the tank so my stand will hide the trim. The drawback to this is getting the tank off the stand will not be easy at all. In this case the tank has to slide backwards off the stand before it can be lifted. Hopefully that won't be necessary for a long time though. I think this gives the tank a nice clean look going straight from the stand to the sand in the tank without any plastic trim to distract the view. The supports for the stand are completely overbuilt for a 75, using 2x4s generously. Once the stand is stained and finished the next project is to setup water filtration, which will be located in a small closet with a washer/dryer and hot water heater. After that is all done I need to do plumbing and then I'm good to fill the tank up! I'd love to hear what everybody thinks and if they have any suggestions or advice.
  16. I use Oceanic, although only in my new tank which has been setup for a few months now. Before that I have only used IO. So far it seems to be excellent, definitly better calcium levels than IO without question.
