You guys asked and I will carry. I placed an order today and should have it by weeks end. I will follow up once it is in, with prices.
  12. This would be white
  13. One of the WAMAS guy this week asked if I could get 6" PVC so that he can build his own skimmer. It is available but I have to buy a 20' piece, is anyone else interested? The cost would be around $10 a foot, please let me know.
  14. If that is an item that needs to be in my inventory I will look into it. Eric the koi season pretty much ends this weekend, I havnt established hours yet but I am leaning towords th-fri 4-7 or 4-8 and sat all day, that should just about cover everyone. As I mentioned earlier we are a small family owned business and as far as the marine aspect, I am it. November is traditionally the winterizing month for ponds, so during the days I am booked for now. If you are going to be in the area some day, email me john@blueribbonkoi.com I usaully stop at the shop in the morning for equipment, and sometimes if I finish early I am there in the late afternoon. So if you need something on the off days that is the best way to get me, I get my emails on my hip.
  15. All the instant ocean bulk salt at 36.95 is gone! This Friday I will have 160g pails of Reef crystals for 43.50 while supplies last! The instant ocean 200 g bulk normal price will be 46.95 and it will be back in stock Friday as well. Other new items include digital thermometers with extended probe, 300w heaters, maxijet 1200 power heads, 5" nets, URI VHO bulbs 48", 46.5", 60". Thanks to all who made it out, I value your input so please don't be afraid to offer some constructive criticism. All fish continue to look great, and everyone is eating well. 1 powder blue left 5" 49.95, lots of firefish, and green chromis, a few rainford gobies, red scarlet crabs 3.95 ea. and cerith snails .95 ea.
  16. Yes, I would expect prepayment on special orders, I can take plastic no problem. Thanks to all that came out this weekend, I would love to sell 50% of what I have so that I can place another order! john
  17. 2 of the WAMAS members that came to my shop today asked if I could special order items. That is something that I will provide to WAMAS memebers. Send me a pm or come by the shop and let me know what you are looking for species and size. I will contact you when it is available with the price, when you give me the go ahead it is done. The only thing I ask is no welching, if you order it, it is yours and it must be picked up within a week of its arrival. thanks
  18. Don't know how many would be interested, but it is a pretty cool thing to see. At my shop Saturday, at 12:00 noon there is a presentation on pond winterization, then the Koi Auction starts at 2:00 pm Current price range on fish is 9.95 to $2500, and no I did not forget a decimal point......
  19. Address is: 5003 Sudley Rd Catharpin, VA 20143 Website will give you hours and directions. No metro nearby. www.blueribbonkoi.com
  20. Also just a heads up I only have 2 more boxes of the Instant Ocean 200gal salt box at the special price of $36.95. When I get specials I will pass them along to you guys, it appears the next one will be reef crystals, I will keep you posted. john
  21. Thanks Martin it was a pleasure meeting you. john
  22. Powder Blue tangs are 4-5" and cost $49.95. As far as a discount to WAMAS when you see my prices you will understand that I cant offer any other discount at this time. I have priced everything low, and right now WAMAS is the only people that know about me selling marine. I think that is a better approach then pricing higher then offering a discount. 200 gal instant ocean bulk box 36.95! Cant touch that locally. thanks for you support! john
  23. Ok, now that the dust has settled, this is where you will see information from me. I will also monitor the ask a vendor section as well. Had a few WAMAS members stop by today for salt, and a beautiful Pink spotted goby. Hope to see more, and again I apoligize to the entire organization for the recent misunderstanding. No hard feelings. John

  25. Dave, We do offer consultation visits to your property they are $75. With that I would come out look at where you want the pond and make suggestions to location and size. I would then beable to give you more specifics as far as filtration requirments and actual pond construction guidlines. We build ponds as well as advise homeowners on building their own. The other option which is a free service, would be to bring pictures and drawings of your yard to me at the shop. From that I could advise as well. We stock everything your would need to build and support your pond, we are here to help you along the way. John
