WAMAS ICE CAP Group Buy --very special pricing!
StevenPro replied to johnnybv's topic in Blue Ribbon Koi
There are supposed to be only three plugs on the 4' MH/T5/LED Reef Illuminations fixture: one runs the LED's, one for the T5's, and one for the MH's and the fans. I will be sure to have Aquacave correct their descriptions. -

1.) That is a pretty good idea. The Red Sea Max aquariums have something similar to that for the splash guards on their lights. I will definitely pass the suggestion along. 2.) Each 4' LED array has 75 emitters. They all come on at the same time, though. -

I am glad it looks like this is going to work out for your all. If you have any other questions about the products, let me know. -
Ok. If you find anything, let me know. I sent my rough draft of that MACNA handbook I talked about in Atlanta to the Houston folks for their input. When I get it back from them, I can send it along to you, Doug, if you want to add to it. Feel free to share it with Steve, Craig, or anyone else you feel can contribute.

Any luck finding those numbers? MASNA seems to be a dead end.
-
Steve sent me a spreadsheet shortly after your show that had all the income and expense broken down. We used it to develop our budget for our bid for MACNA 19. I just can't find my copy now. Maybe the MASNA folks have a copy?
-
Steve, Craig, Doug, Glen, or anyone else, do you guys still have the data on your MACNA? In particular, I am looking for the amount of money the raffle brought in. I had that information at one time, but can't find it now. I am working on that "How to bid for, plan, and host a MACNA" thing I discussed in Atlanta. I have 13 pages of info and I am no where near done. Once I get it mostly complete, I will send you folks a copy for your input.

I just wanted to let you all know that the Radisson is full. The overflow hotels are the Holiday Inn (412-372-1022 ext. 656) and the Hampton Inn (412-380-4000). Just tell them you are coming for MACNA.

We have added another row of booths, so keep an eye out for last minute additions to the trade show.
-
We have 108 booths sold now and just added another row of 9 because of continued interest.

If anyone plans to bring the family along, here are some area attractions. You can get to anyone of these in 15 minutes or less (if you avoid rush hour) from the MACNA venue. Our show is going strong. We have 103 booths (it was 102 this morning when I posted on the CMAS forum but I sold another today) reserved already and expect more in short order. Some people though have not paid in full yet, so their banners are not displayed. And some people have paid in full and just have not sent us their banners. but don't worry, this MACNA is going to have a strong trade show component.

I wanted to let you all know that the next MACNA is going to be held in Pittsburgh. This should be a great opportunity to see some fabulous speakers, new and interesting products, rare and unusual livestock, and to hang out with fellow fish geeks from all over the world. Registration for the full show, including the Friday night reception and Saturday banquet, is only $100! But, this price will only last until the end of January, so register now to lock in this great price. We have a number of excellent speakers already confirmed and are aggressively working on others. Here is a current listing: Adam Blundell Eric Borneman Anthony Calfo Dr. Bruce Carlson Dr. Stan Dannemiller James Fatherree Lee Goldman Ron Hessing Kelly Jedlicki Dr. Sanjay Joshi Daniel Knop Sarah Lardizabal Dr. Frank Marini Dr. Catherine McFadden Mike Paletta Steven Pro Dr. Ron Shimek Dr. Rob Toonen See our website for more information, http://www.macna2007.com/

Are these available yet? If not, any idea of when they will be?

You guys all did a fabulous job! Steve, Craig, Michael, Dave, Doug, Glen, and countless others whose names I can't recall now have my sincere appreciation. I have attended six MACNA's total; Louisville twice, Baltimore, Dallas-Fort Worth, Boston, and now Washington. And by far, this one was my favorite! Everything went smoothly. I didn't hear a single complaint all weekend. The hotel was very nice and conveniently located such that there were numerous alternate choices for meals. The speaker lineup and topics were diverse and interesting. Thank you very much for your tireless work and effort!

I just wanted to saw that I had a great time! You guys put together a well run and coordinated meeting with a large, lively, and educated crowd. I am looking forward to coming back and spending more time there for MACNA.

http://reefkeeping.com/issues/2004-11/gr/index.htm I guess the message board program does not like something about this link. Anyhow, the article can be found in the November 2004 issue of www.Reefkeeping.com
