I know lights aren't the issue but I have ati 8 bulb with the lens. Nitates and phosphate s have been zero I finally got my nitrates to 1.7 today phosphate still zero I orderd neo phosphate. Colors on some brownish and I guess pastels o others best description is water down I bought a piece of blue Oregon tort and it was the brightest blue I have ever seen from Graham and now it's growing and still blue but not at all what it was

I can't seem to get my colors, growth is great .I am pretty darn sure it's not my lights. Because I have the same coral at different depths and it doesn't make any difference, some coralsare ok but not great. I want to try and make my tank a little dirtier instead of adding a bunch of products what if I turn off my skimmer for a few hours a day would this work or when I turn it on it will strip everything out anyways? Can anyone recommend a local acrylic Aquarium manufacturers or is there anyone out there who has built one and can help me build one tanks

Good morning I bought this 350 gallon DAS aquarium about 6 years ago and the top cross members are rusted and warped and need immediate replacement. I have tried several times to contact DAS I think they are out of business. Looked online for someone to build me a new plastic replacement frame no luck. I would appreciate any info or suggestions from anyone who might have done this before. Some thoughts and questions Do I have to empty my tank completely or can I replace frame with like 50% water in it. Second question/thought is that switching it to euro bracing is my only option what material should I use is there a stronger glue/silicone that I should use. Thanks all Tony

Well I always calibrate my refractometer I guess I will have to get another one for comparison.

Help my sodium came back high. My triton icp test days my sodium is 12341 mg/l I have no idea what that means. How do I translate that to the reading on my refractromerer. Thanks

I'm just pissed because of the customer service more than anything else and the fact that it doesn't mix clear no matter what I do. they have cleaned up their act I don't get the brown crud like old days bit I get white sand on the bottom which is either precipitation or salt not mixing

So I have been using instant ocean for ever. The Last batch I bought approximately 20 boxes of the 200 gallon size is hard as a rock doesn't mix clear and seems to participate our while mixing I called manufacturer and he said its fine if it's hard I said what about the perception and I got no response. So Im Kinda sour on the company I know everyone here uses them. But looking for people's opinion with large systems 200 or 300 and up I'm looking for new alternative cost effective salt fritz rpm has gotten my intrest.

I haven't tried them but algaebarn sells them.
