  1. Hey guys ! I am going away for 5 days tomorrow and my tank is having a little algae issue, should I just keep the light off the whole 5 days and no feeding to keep the algea down?  Are the fish going to be ok with no feeding for 5 days if i just fed them a heavy meal and also tomorrow before I leave ?  Thanks

  2. Thank you !  I will check all of the above today when i have some time.   It is unplugged at the moment and theres plenty of water in the sump area behind my AIO tank, just waiting for the water to evaporate back down to the normal salinity.  Thanks again !

  3. Hey guys, my tunze pump is running but no water coming out at all, after i plug and unplug i can hear the pump running but no water is coming out of the tubing for toping off.  It's a brand new pump that i've just replaced because the last pump stopped working.  If you had the same problem before how did you resolve it ?  Thanks .

  4. I feel your pain man , I am the same way.  After countless amount of $$$ spent I still cant even keep any SPS, not even birdnests or monti caps.  I've seen people with basic biocube set up with biocube stock lighting and not dosing anything at all , just very basic set up yet they were able to keep basic SPS and monti caps.  I pretty much give up on SPS and just stick to zoas and LPS but some of my high end zoas have melted in recent days too.   :blast:  :blast:  :blast:

  5. 125g is plenty of room for them ( Reefescape has one nice one in a 50g i believe)   , they only get over a foot long the ocean i believe , and they don't really swim much as they are weak swimmer.  I have a 4-5 inch in my 25g shallow and he seems to do fine ..for now , he even spit water at you when he see you coming with his food so the kids will love that.   Just make sure he's the first fish in the tank and don't house him with any aggressive fish because they are slow swimmer, also moderate flow too , not too strong.  Also buying one thats fairly decent size (3-5 inch)  will significantly increase the survival rate ( I found this out the hard way..lol)
