  1. Green pocillopora colony $15. I’ll include the Ora green psammacora for even $20 pickup March 20 or 21st or it gets chucked over the porch. It’s about as big as 4 golf balls. If that ain’t big enough for you or if it sells I’m sure i can locate some more in my tank.

  2. What do you do when it’s cold here but you are shipping to Miami Florida? Heat pack or no heat pack? I have run into this problem before when ordering frags but in reverse. Hot down there already then they add a heat pack

  3. I wouldnt fight it. It’s a normal thing as they grow out they are going to shade themselves. If the coral is healthy and happy it won’t bother it at all. In the Wild we have the sun at all different angles and waves reflecting light all over the place. However in our fish tanks we sometimes just have a single non moving light. I guess you could rotate the coral occasionally like I rotate my house plants but I prefer to have them secured to the rockwork and deal with the shading

  4. The bright color adjusted acro burned out his battery. You guys are forgetting it’s not a graft, it’s an ultra rare “GFP infection” that made me laugh though that one vendors $2000 attempt at a graft. Has to be poking fun

  5. Wow that’s a nice piece GSW3. That’s a shame they juiced up the photos that bad. It’s bright, burning a hole in my phone screen. I love it when common pieces are in the background for color verification. Easier to tell if colors are juiced up but that egg crate background was smart. Probably boosted the price a couple thousand

  6. People get Cali tort and Oregon tort mixed up all the time. Similar names, colors and growth. The easiest difference is Cali tort usually has a green base but sometimes it doesn’t and that’s when it’s harder to tell a difference. That’s definitely the Oregon. Really awesome piece

  7. Like he said I see a lot of Staghorn’s being grown out for placement on reef but not much elkhorn. This is a great idea for the elkhorn since it’s so large and slow growing and harder to work with. The Staghorns grow quick enough to where I don’t think microfrag is necessary. I bet the stags grow so quick they wouldn’t have the manpower to keep up with it. Tiny frags in my tank easily can be wiped out by a cyano or GHA outbreak and survivability is much greater in larger pieces.

  8. No no you can’t graft your own! It’s a super duper rare infection only obtained from mars! For the low low price of only 382492 you can obtain this rare frag! Kidding awesome article thanks for finding that

  9. Yea what if the pink part growth starts to take off and leaves the green stuff in the dark, taking over. Then you have a $25 milli. If all the offspring frags looks like this It’s a highly desirable piece. I’m not sure what will happen as I have never seen this.

  10. I have kept legit ones twice. They didn’t grow at all. Eventually died. Meanwhile my other bubble tips were growing and splitting like crazy. I won’t be buying another. However I think I have the same one you have pictured tommy, in the store I thought it had potential to be one. As soon as I got it home in my lights I knew it wasn’t. But it’s my fav nem and I’m going to enjoy the daylights out of it.
