    I got a very good deal on the tank. I like it. If you run both return pumps it moves a lot of water through the system. The back panel is black acrylic and all the pumps, heater, top off is behind that.

    I am running it berlin style right now. I have the ghost skimmer full size. It is not pulling anything out yet but I think it may need a few more days to break in. I don't recommend the topoff that is made by innovative marine. I am using the avast system with the hydro fill unit. I can always put filter socks where the tank drains into the back side, or I can put carbon there as well with the caddy accessory. I have the back of the tank 5-1/2" from the back wall. That gives me enough space to run wires and tubing and general work.

    Very nice! What corals do you have in here now. I just moved to Montclair area...so you're even closer to me. Perhaps I need to check this tank out and buy some frags from you when I get my own stuff restabilized. Cheers

    here's a way to turn it into Not A Chore- cut the bottoms off the filter socks and never change them. This makes for a nice bubble trap and another place for cryptic species to grow. Doesn't filter out all that good plankton floating around your system.

    Ive never thought of this. Seems like a decent idea. How long have you done this?

    Deborgem, Chrissy's Critters and PetCo is about all that is in the Fredericksburg area.

     

    If you are willing to go south, there are a few more LFS down that way. Two of my favorites are Tiki Corals & Chester Aquaria. You should try them out, the drive is not really that bad and they are 2 really nice stores.

    +1^ im just 20 minutes out of fredericksburg and always have something to frag. Pm me if interested in getting together

    Wow. Its been a while on this on. A lots cganged. Like the light and every rock in it. Its become predominantly a zoa, paly and shroom/ric tank. There are some poeces of euphilia on there. Im thinking of trying a gyre 130 on one end. I did also change the light to a 4x54w ati sunpower. And added a little reef octo skimmer. Not sure if its needed as there are only 5 fish.
