I always let mine sit for a day. Not sure why but I think someone said to let them dry.

This is what I did to build the structures in my old tank. Pretty easy to do. Just need to make sure to get a good bit.Another method to defy gravity is to drill holes through the rocks and put a Plexiglas rod through the holes, like a rock shish-kabab.

That light must be pretty kickin to have great results after 5 days. It's a hydra correct?Wow. I just looked up at my older post from 5 days ago. This coral changed so much in just 5 days. I must have good water chemistry going on. I don't have a trace element test kits. I bought one the instructions confused me and I returned it. This light also has a lot to do with it I don't think I'm gonna sell or trade it anymore. It's making my corals grow like weeds.

I agree with thisAny deep blue dealer can order you any size.. they have rimless in 12" depth as well as a ton of other sizes...
I wouldn't feel comfortable with removing the rim.. but if ya wanna gamble give it a try.. I know it has been done successfully so maybe work out for ya...

You'll need more rock in the 25 to attach more corals to.

+1How would it comprise your tank? If it dies it won't foul your water... corals die on tanks every day..
But I agree from the start saying give it away....

Why not trade it on here for xenia. I'm sure someone would trade if you listed it

A friend of mine ran this on a large system. It's a nice atb with upgraded pump. He loved it. Only reason it's not in use is bc he downsized to a small cube

I ran a sro6000 on my 300. It was the space saver model. It did a great job. My tank was heavily stocked at times and it never let me down

Good luck. Unless one is hidden I think all have been sold. I know that's the case in Richmond

I agree. I have a mp10qd on my 30 and love it. Several of the jebaos i owned before had issues. This is one aspect where you do get what you pay for.

I just dipped 4 of mine in hp too. Twizzlers, hornets and 2 others. I went heavy with the hp. They were closed for a day but looking good now and no algae.

Filter socks
in General Discussion
Hopefully someone else chimes in. I always had extras so I rotated them and let them always dry out.
